An Active Citizen notices what is happening, cares enough to respond and is willing to play a part. EVGians learn to show empathy, contribute to their school and community, and understand that even small actions can create meaningful change.

We want every EVGian to ask:

Leadership at Evergreen is not defined by a title or position.

It is seen in the student who speaks up for someone else. The teammate who encourages others. The classmate who takes responsibility when something goes wrong. The person who chooses to do what is right even when nobody is watching.

At Evergreen, we want students to discover that leadership begins with character - and that everyone has the capacity to influence others for good.

Exceptional leaders do not simply stand in front. They help others move forward.
