Mission
Through the lens, short stories and productions, to develop creative thinking skills and pursue the craft to explore our imagination.

To think critically, communicate effectively and acquire ICT and photography skills beyond classrooms.
Life of a Digital Media Club Member
The students of Digital Media Club will contribute to the school through providing video documentation of school events such as the Chinese New Year Concert, Road Run, Honours Day and National Day Parade and Concert. Every student-videographer will also build on their communication skills as they work effectively in camera crew teams so as to overcome challenges with a positive attitude. At the end of the years of training in the club, students are expected to have a rich portfolio to showcase their creativity with confidence.

Awards and Achievements
Every student in this club is encouraged to participate in the annual NEmation competition, School Digital Media Awards competition and media-related enrichment workshops. The students will also participate in various notable photography competitions and events.
Appreciate our NSmen 2022 Video Competition
Organised by SAFRA Singapore, one of our entries ‘One Man, Many Hats’ has won the Merit Award, Audience Choice Award and Young Video Maker Award.
The multiple award-winning production was led by Director Ng Wen Xuan, together with his crew Zhou Yushi, Chan Yan Hui, Yoyo Ng and Kyan Elijah Ng Kai En.
Singapore’s Our Home SG 75 2021
Earlier this year, students from Digital Media Club participated in Singapore Our Home, SG75 competition. This competition invites submissions in essays, pictures and motion media to express their strength of our community, emphasising the collective fight involving every walk of society. The theme for this year’s competition is “Sustainability: Resilience and Inclusiveness in Fighting COVID-19”.
We are happy to announce that the submission by our students, Izzul Ilham Bin Razi (3ITG), Lim Qian Hui (3ITG) and Ong Li Xin (3RSP) was shortlisted for the final round of online public voting. As the online public votes count towards 20% of the final score, every vote counts!
N.E.Mation 2021
N.E.mation! is a competition for youths to express their notions on Total Defence through animation. All DMC members participate in this competition every year. In 2021, one of the teams was selected for Top 20 Finalists category.

One of the teams made it to the Top 40 Finalists this year.
Singapore’s Our Home SG 75 2019
Two teams from Digital Media Club came Top 10 in Singapore’s Our Home SG 75 competition which was open to all schools in Singapore. The teams created videos on Sustainability: Land and development, and the videos were shortlisted for online voting. Both teams emerged top 10, and one of the teams even clinched Second runner up.

N.E.Mation 2019
N.E.mation! is a competition for youths to express their notions on Total Defence through animation. Five teams made it to the Top 100 Finalists this year. Out of which, two of the teams went onto the Top 40 Finalists of the competition this year.
In additional, Muhammad Sadiq Bin Salim from 2 Respect won second prize for the Online Mini-Photo contest.
Our Schools, Our Stories 2018 - 2019
Our Schools, Our Stories is an annual national competition organised by MOE that allows students to capture fascinating stories of everyday school life in Evergreen Secondary.
7th National Young Shutterbugs 2018
The team from infocomm won Limelight award for 7th National Young Shutterbugs 2018 competition.The team had participated in the Young filmmakers category.
Canon Photomarathon 2018
On 28th July, a group of EVG Photographers took up the challenge and participated in the student category of the annual Canon Photomarathon held at Suntec City Convention Hall. The Canon Photomarathon is a single-day photography competition where participants are given Competition Themes to capture. The themes are only unveiled on the event day at specific timings. Participants then have three hours to submit one picture per theme for the competition. Entries are based on the following criteria: relevance to theme and creative interpretation of theme. The themes for this year’s challenges were SOLITUDE, SIMPLICITY and GLOW. The competition provided good exposure for the members as it gave our photographers the opportunity to put their photography skills and creativity to the test.
Singapore Young Photographer Award (SYPA) 2018
The Singapore Young Photographer Award (SYPA) is a national competition which aims to promote the art of photography amongst young Singaporeans, as well as to recognise and nurture budding photographic talents. The Sec One members went through a series of photography workshop in Semester One to help them to pick up technical skills that would help them to create images which envision and capture ideas of sustainable urban scapes and societies, the theme for SYPA 2018.
