Strengthening Resilience, Building Character and Developing Leadership through Sports and Outdoor Learning

LLP Desired Outcomes

Develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for lifelong participation in sports and outdoor activities.
Develop resilience, values, and socio-emotional competencies by demonstrating adaptive and inventive thinking skills to solve problems and overcome challenges.
Display leadership and teamwork competencies by taking initiative, guiding peers, and contributing positively to school and the diverse community.

The Learning for Life Programme (LLP) in EVG is a 4/5-year programme that focuses on Strengthening Resilience, Building Character and Developing Leadership through Sports and Outdoor Learning in all EVGians. A three-tier approach is adopted, ranging from school-wide programmes to specific interest or ability groups. Through the LLP, we strive to Educate, Enrich and Empower our students’ learning experiences, nurturing them to become Confident Persons, Self-Directed Learners, Concerned Citizens and Active Contributors who drive positive impact on their lifelong journeys.

Educate (Tier 1: Whole School)

Students will be educated with the skills and knowledge necessary for lifelong participation in sports and outdoor activities, and to foster understanding and inclusion of individuals of all abilities.
